EPIDERMAL CYST OF SKULL - CASE REPORT

Abstract


Purpose: Case of epidermal cyst of the skull associated with neurological symptoms and surprising dimensions that differ from the classic lesion described in the literature, considered routinely as low expansive potential. Case description: Patient with epidermal cyst skull 13x12x15 cm, with changes in the architecture of the skull underwent surgery with complete removal of the lesion, regression of symptoms and satisfactory progress. Conclusion: Although limited and benign epidermal cyst of the skull may reach considerable size and should receive appropriate treatment to avoid undesirable complications as possible, but rare malignancy.
